Their sound draws from and mashes together indie, electronica, world music, primitive rhythmics and electro-pop through electro-acoustic manipulations into catchy futuristic tunes. Their first single: ‘We Come in Peace’ is both a manifesto and an invite for all to show up, live fully and take yourself seriously however weird or funny that might be or sound.
CAVA’s melodies and words are inspired by childhood memories, the struggle for growth, learning, failing and constantly transforming. CAVA is on a path of discovery both personal and musical: a journey that starts and finishes home navigating through ambitions, expectations and dreams that accompany it.
Music to find relief, joy and celebration. Music to go wild, for once or for the last time. Tribal, primitive, almost religious Cava is music for the world and the soul.
The duo experiments with composition weaving together voice and abstract patterns obtained through sampling, sound synthesis and audio effects. Abstract sounds and effects are mixed to obtain complex and not canonical yet weirdly recognizable music in its form and intentions.
Aiming at sounds that could be coming from outer space, CAVA tries to imagine a future that is funny, joyful and not so dark as it seems today.
