The song was written and composed during the pandemic while I was working for the healthcare system testing people in retirement home. I saw a lot of things I will never forget. I truly couldn’t believe the world we were living in and would wonder if all this wouldn’t be an hallucination. I then started thinking about the story of a couple trying to escape reality as everything falls apart. The hook translates in english to “You and me, we couldn’t care less, in pink and red”. I didn’t wanted the song to sound psychadelic. I wanted the song to feel as happy as possible, kind of as a denial. So I went for an early 80’s Prince funk type of sound blended with Breakbots and Daft Punk influences.
