This song has a very personal meeting to me. It is about the struggles of a relationship where one person is sacrificing their happiness for the other person. Though the narrator is struggling, they continue to let their partner do whatever they want with whoever they want just to avoid the conflict. Overall they are afraid of losing this person no matter how bad it gets for them. I am extremely proud of how much emotion I was able to convey in this song with many less lyrics than I usually write.
