MELFI: ‘Praise’ has a special place in my heart because I never felt ready for it to be over. It took over 2 years to fully develop and went through so many evolutions and tones and sounds before I felt that it was ready to be the most it could be. When I first showed Moses the barebones mix back in October of 2022, I told him the title and he said, “Oh bet I know exactly what to do” and within three weeks he had written all the verses and choruses. His lyrics expertly accented the vibe of the track I was going for and leveled it up beyond what I originally showed him; so, I had to 1-up or AT LEAST match his energy with the production. So continued the sound design journey that I’ve always been on, always trying to get it to sound that much better, more dynamic, more momentous. I wanted there to be a lot of room to get lost in. We’ve always loved being able to listen back to a song over and over and discover new elements about it, so we tried our best to implement that here. One day I had finally done it, after two years of us growing together as friends and artists, after the first version was even referenced, the song was finished. The scope and power of the song to me is perfect as it is, and I know we’ll look back and say that this song was huge milestone indemnifying our progress.”
Moses: “‘Praise’ is not the first time I worked with MELFI (and will not be the last) but marks the first time we poured ourselves into a track together. I usually don’t like songwriting based around the name of a demo beat, but what MELFI produced and allowed me to expand on is truly the EDM representation of praise, even at that first session. “Feel your praise, feel my praise, feel our praise” kept repeating in my head. I took what we created home, and the lyric writing process just flowed.
After some time, MELFI revamped the original instrumental and created this magical space. Crossing a 90’s Hip-Hop drum bounce with the lush textures and sensational sound design elevated ‘Praise’ to new heights. We want everyone who listens to temporarily drift into our world. We want you to “let go and just be who you are.” We believe we are all worth ‘Praise.’

‘Maestro of the Vines’, the result of blending reality, memory and dreams, is a song about “limitless undying love”. It talks about dreams being a shelter in which one can experience things that are impossible to occur in real life, such as visiting someone’s childhood to give them a helping hand, and being able to see, hear and touch someone that is gone. The intention behind writing and producing ‘Maestro of the Vines’ was to allow memories of a loved one to continue to exist over time, by capturing them in symbolic ways in the song’s lyrics and melodies.
This song came together on its own, it marks the start of a great collaboration and friendship with the producer Asaph.
It was born on San Valentine’s day, when her producer sent her this very soulful and vintage backing track looking for a songwriter to compose melody and to give lyrics to his music piece. It all came very naturally and effortlessly, within one day, the song was written and the vocals recorded, with the result of the perfect edgy and organic sound Ladylucci was looking for.

FREE MUSIC (FOR MODELS) is an aural painting that has come together during four years of living the life of scrappy artists in Berlin, Germany. The four songs reflect the joys and frustration of their life, and showcase excellent penmanship and creative production.
“MFM” was inspired by sunsets, nostalgia and situationships. We wanted to create a song that was extremely catchy, but still had a layer of edginess to it. It is also a requirement for every Music for Models’ song that it has to move the crowd at concerts – and we are happy to report that it does indeed get them off the wall.
This song was written, recorded, and will be performed to serve as a vote of confidence. Throughout MELFI’s artistic journey, he has always sought out to create new and interesting soundscapes. Although this obsession has landed him a distinguishable sound library of original samples, he has always been self-conscious about the most unique sound in his possession; his own voice. This was something MELFI was determined to change.
Having re-discoverind the genre of UK garage, MELFI shifts his sights onto faster tempos, groovier drums, and more simple yet effective song structure. In deviating from producing dubstep, he was able to imbue similar tactics of vocal chopping, resampling synth recordings, and advanced post processing and automation, but in the context of dance music.
This unique approach enabled MELFI to create an electric blend of sound design and groove for the ultimate “I wish I knew who that was” energy.
I have successfully transitioned from using heavy narcotics illegally to managing my life with prescription medicine from my doctor. In order to express this journey, I have created a fun song that explores the paradox of the party-like atmosphere that often accompanies drug use. I believe this song effectively conveys the complexities of my experience and serves as a positive outlet for self-expression.
