Kubota is working hard for a song about not working at all. New Single “Nothing for Today”

His newest song “Nothing for Today” is one of four singles being released to lead up to his year-ending EP which is yet to be announced

The song is a Pop-influenced Hip-Hop song that’s about being too overwhelmed by responsibilities to the point of losing all desire of being productive. The song is set to release on the 4th of June. Kubota is an Asian-American Hip-Hop artist with Pop and Indie-pop fusion sounds mixed in.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Kubota has developed his sound over 10 long years, writing, producing, recording, and mixing all of his music himself. He is currently signed to Pacific Records with numerous singles accumulating roughly 40,000 streams on Spotify.

Surrounded in a congested music scene, Kubota sought out to find a sound that differed from those within his surroundings. With influences ranging from Joji, Kota the Friend, Dumbfoundead, Kero-One, and a variety of other musical acts from a range of genres, Kubota has generated a unique style of Hip-Hop/Pop/Indie to differentiate his musical sound.

After signing with Pacific Records in 2020, Kubota has surpassed his own mental blocks by becoming a consistent content creator across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube to market his music. He has tripled his followers and fanbase across all of his platforms, slowly gaining a buzz among a niche crowd of music-lovers across the globe.
