“Won’t Last” recalls meditative mantras from Stoicism and Buddhism, encouraging listeners to live in the moment and a sort of peace. Lead vocalist and guitarist Yoni Avittan explained that the lyrics in the chorus form part of his daily meditative routine.

The accompanying video offers an immersive experience, blurring the lines between dream and reality. Viewers are taken on a journey with the band using an intriguing POV to evoke feelings of peace and acceptance.

The Dodies’ debut album, It’s One Hell of a Ride, was produced by the band and co-produced by Ron ‘Bumblefoot’ Thal, formerly of Guns N’ Roses, in Ireland.

The Dodies have gained a reputation for their energetic live performances and unique sound, with Ran Aronson playing bass lines on keyboard with one hand and drums with the other. The band’s music has been featured on Spotify’s All New Rock playlist, and they have amassed a loyal following in their native Israel and beyond. “Won’t Last” promises to be another exciting addition to their growing discography.
