Sussex indie pop trio Wild Horse have released their latest single “Angles,” following the success of their first release of 2023, “Cougar.” The song was written by frontman Jack Baldwin and produced by Matt Leppanen at The Animal Farm Music studio in London. The band’s funked-up guitar pop sound is influenced by hip-hop beats and classic 60s/70s Brit Rock vinyls.

“Angles” is a song that explores the dilemma of making the first move in expressing one’s feelings. It’s a confident and spirited track from a fast-rising band that has been receiving enthusiastic support from critics, broadcasters, and press alike. The “Clean” and “Original” versions of the single will be released on all music platforms.

The release of “Angles” coincides with Wild Horse’s first national UK tour, which includes performances at The Blues Kitchen in Manchester, The Brudenell Social Club in Leeds, The O2 Academy in Birmingham, and Thekla in Bristol. The band was also one of the first 50 acts to be announced to perform at the 2023 Great Escape Festival in Brighton.

Wild Horse’s relentless gigging since their teenage years has earned them a loyal following and critical acclaim. Their work has been played on numerous FM and internet stations worldwide, including BBC Intros, BBC local shows, RadioX, Caroline, Amazing, and many other local FM and internet stations. With their infectious sound and captivating live performances, Wild Horse is a band to watch out for in 2023 and beyond.
