Fovelle is a neo-disco producer. His sound lives somewhere between Prince, Justice and Jungle. He uses his analog synths to blend the soul of classic disco with modern production techniques. His music mixes infectious grooves, smart counterpoint and catchy melodies.
After 7 years of playing in numerous funk bands playing a lot of live performances playing everywhere in eastern Canada, he now enjoys the comfort of working from La Maison Slique, his studio of Québec City. The studio really gives him the power to be really creative and explore new territories. He now can materialize much more complex arrangements, playing most of the instruments himself.
The pandemic really gave him the opportunity to work more with other artists as producer, lyricist and composer. He’s been working with Electric Neon Clouds, Monastère, Loëm and many more. He’s now happy to be releasing his own music collaborating with artists he admires. He feels like he found a sound. He now wants to show it to the world by releasing a song every month and remixing songs he loves.
Commenting on the deal, Fovelle said: “I love to be part of a community, a family ! The platform is super well designed and everybody is really kind and responsive. I really feel like my music will travel. I wasn’t born in a place where there’s a big dance scene so I’m glad to have a team that will work to show my sound to the world.”
