It’s a combination of brand new songs and some that we had demoed before taking about a 6-year break from making music together when I moved to Austin, Texas to open a recording studio and Rachel stayed in Houston, Texas working as a music teacher. Mental health had kind of gone to shit for both of us. It was a form of therapy, starting to make music together again.”
