SONO Music is proud to announce the new single ‘In Circles’ from Milan, Italy-based singer-songwriter, Our Beauty in the Fire. After being part of many underground and alternative bands and projects for more than 20 years, singer/guitarist Matteo Fabbris started Our Beauty in the Fire in the summer 2019.

‘In Circles’ is a luscious and hypnotic chant drawing those who will surrender. Its lyrics, “Wisdom won’t save us”, are a reminder that in spite of our efforts, in life, we are all bound to repeat the same cycles.

Naive yet disimpassioned and sophisticated, the speakers and voices behind Our Beauty in the Fire aim to lead the listener through fear, melancholy, sheer joy, anxiety and sweet surrender.

Matteo comments on the single: “I’ve always felt particularly drawn to this song, personally as well as musically. It’s a song that in some ways represents other sides of Our Beauty in the Fire, more luscious and melodic and also having a more ‘universal’ resonance. It is a sort of complement of the first single ‘Voices’, although embodying the same attitude.”

Our Beauty in the Fire is the solo project of Matteo Fabbris, out of the need to give form to past and current ideas, perceptions and suggestions. Initially unaware of the outcome and the scope of this intimate journey, Matteo started to draft OBITF’s sound and aesthetics moving from dark folk, gothic, singer-songwriter influences, although not limiting to them.
