Bridgend singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ci Gofod, also known as Jack Thomas Davies, has released a new single called ‘Rhedeg Yn Y Nos’, which translates to ‘Running At Night’. Influenced by 80s and funk records from his father’s dusty box and bands like Super Furry Animals and Sly And The Family Stone, Ci Gofod’s latest track is a blissful yet funky groove that blends dreamy guitar melodies with Welsh language vocals.

Ci Gofod writes and records his 80s-inspired soul-infused disco-funk grooves from his bedroom studio in the South Wales Valleys. His live band, consisting of Josh David Read, Lloyd Bastian, Quillian Thomas, and Josh Cox, brings his unique brand of indie-funk euphoria to stages.

Ci Gofod’s previous singles have received airplay on BBC Radio Wales and BBC Radio Cymru, and his most successful single to date, ‘Lose the Pressure’, has amassed over 46k streams on Spotify. With a mission to fill dancefloors with his energetic and flamboyant sound and to pay homage to his Welsh heritage, Ci Gofod is set to make an everlasting mark on the South Wales music scene.
