SONO Music is proud to announce the upcoming single “Attempt n.2” by Amberscent.

Amberscent is a Rome-based artist, born in the region of Marche in central Italy. Her musical identity is shaped by her classical music studies, movie score studies, and research on electronic instruments.

“Attempt n.2” is a sonic dialogue between two synthesizers that describes, through sound anatomy, the process of healing a wound and the commitment to love. In addition to her own project, Amberscent is mainly dedicated to the soundtrack of short films, video art, and live performances of soundtracks on films. She has been a finalist of several competitions and awarded for the best experimental soundtrack of a historic advertising spot in an international contest (SeeUsound – Turin).

Speaking about the single, Amberscent commented: “At some point of the making of this song, I started to look more into the energy it gave to me, and in the end, this lead me to something more specific than just “an energy”. Unfortunately I couldn’t find its name in the first place, so I focused on the effort I was putting in trying to understand what it was. That’s why “Attempt”. And it is “n.2″ because this was the second time I was in that place during the making of the upcoming album. I eventually got what I was speaking about later, and this is what the upcoming album is all about.”

Amberscent’s new single “Attempt n.2” is an evocative and direct sonic experience that showcases the artist’s versatility and command of electronic instruments. It’s an exploration of sound anatomy and the power of emotions that can be felt through music. The single will be released on SONO Music in the coming weeks.
