SONO Music is proud to present the new single from Gintsugi, ‘To Grace’. The tender piano notes that open the dreamy and emotional track invite us into a sense of epicness that calls one’s inner ally to action.

Gintsugi is a singer and multi-instrumentalist from Grenoble, Italy, France, whose art-pop music wraps shadows with light, exposing the beauty of imperfections. She finds her strength in vulnerability, exacerbating her emotional body on a narrow line between exposure and rupture. Her first self-titled EP was produced by Victor Van Vugt (Nick Cave, Beth Orton), and for the song ‘Outside’ she collaborated with Yoad Nevo (SIA, AIR).

The new single ‘To Grace’ is an ode to the importance of finding allies and role models who have created medicine from their wounds. It is a song of joy and hope, a redemption after a storm. It is also a prelude to Gintsugi’s full-length album, ‘The Elephant in the Room’, due out in the Fall of 2023 in collaboration with SONO Music Group and Beautiful Losers Records.

Gintsugi commented on the single, “’To Grace’ comes directly from a dream. The refrain was whispered into my ear in a dream, by an elder I do not know, but recognise as part of my creative weave. ‘To grace’ is full of joy, not for something that will magically come to save us, but for the goodness of the connection with people who inspire us, and whom we recognise as members of our tribe. The sometimes troubled, but grounded on deep love, connections. To Grace anticipates the album The elephant in the room coming out in the fall 2023.”
