Who is Thread Mill?
Thread Mill is the self-produced brainchild of Ariane Sisavath, based in Montreal, Canada. Guitarist and old friend Pier-Luc Perron joins her on several productions to add his stellar guitars.
Thread Mill is shaping a sound inclined towards electronica, electro pop and indie pop, showcasing Ariane’s airy vocals, synthesizers, electric guitars and some sound design elements.
She draws inspiration from the emotions she feels in herself and in others to create songs that talk to people’s souls to create dreamy, vaporous and introspective soundscapes.
Commenting on the deal, Thread Mill said: “I strive to surround myself with other dreamers like me so I’m excited for this new collaboration with SONO! I am happy to be part of the family and that we can now build together!”
