Thread Mill wrote and composed Impermanent during a sleepless night as the pain of a broken world gently made its way to her pen. Her guitarist and old friend P-L joined her on this one with his stellar guitars and together, they created this intense yet delicate sonic ride.
Thread Mill commented: “Impermanent is a song I wrote and composed with all my heart and describes quite intense feelings that might have lasted only for a moment, yet now they get to live forever”.
Threadmill Bio
Thread Mill is a Canadian indie electronic project led by singer, songwriter and producer Ariane Sisavath, based in Montreal, Québec. She is joined by guitarist Pier-Luc Perron on several productions.
Thread Mill shares dreamy, vapory and introspective electronic music involving synthesizers, Ariane’s airy vocals, electric guitars and some sound design elements. While there is a clear retro influence in the first Album The City Sleeps and In Limbo EP, Thread Mill is now reshaping a sound mainly inclined towards electronica and IDM, with a touch of indie pop.
