Bristol-based solo artist Gushh has released a poignant new single, “Nothing Is Lost,” on Earth Day, harnessing his unique blend of post-rock and shoegaze to spotlight environmental issues. The creation of “Nothing Is Lost” was sparked by an opportunity from BIMM Bristol University to compose a song for the UN Climate Change Conference – COP 28. Inspired by eco-centered poems from the University of Exeter, Gushh crafted this track during a retreat to a beachside caravan, armed only with his laptop and guitar. This setting proved fertile for the melding of melancholic chords and hopeful melodies, crafting a narrative of resilience and empowerment.
