A new beacon on the UK south coast alternative rock scene has been born, and they’re called Zero Saints, who have just announced that they are due to drop their debut single “Kingston Song” on March 15th. A tight-knit group in Southampton, the Zero Saints quartet came together 18 months ago, and ever since, they have turned from being a modest act into something much larger and far more promising.

The song “The Kingston Song” is described by the band as flying through a rain cloud, with a musical complexity of melody and rhythm—threading into the bursting tapestry of heartache. The single evokes the poignant echoes of an early Coldplay with the lighter side of the Foo Fighters, defined by dense layers capturing the emotional journey from the coldness of despair to the warmth of the cathartic sunlight.

With a frontman such as Noah Lawlor, whose vocal and rhythm guitar skills are extraordinary, and the absolutely talented Raffi Harley on lead guitar, supported by Gabriel Oram on bass and new addition Tom Black, the band is already on fire. It was with their unapologetic enthusiasm and humor that they had already become extremely popular among the growing audience; this track would solidify it for all to see on “Kingston Song,” now a milestone in their career blowing up with rapidity and one of many releases off their coming EP.

Produced by Nathan Wood and inspired by the likes of bands such as Foo Fighters and Coldplay, John Mayer, the “Kingston Song” is nothing but a perfect definition of the complexities involved in a broken relationship. “The departure and how deeply involved it is, from what we would normally choose to write, is much more. “It feels almost like being lost in the slow section of a school dance—complex and unresolved until the chorus hits with a big moment of realization and catharsis.

Apart from Pluto the Rich, Molly Meaker, and Myriad, he was with Zero Saints. They really showed every reason they deserve the chance and have had other headline shows at the Hobbit in Southampton, plus slots as high-profile support. Their journey, marked by an interview on Surge FM radio, has been a testament to their musical and personal growth.

With “Kingston Song,” Zero Saints are not just releasing a single; they’re unveiling a piece of their soul. This is a song trying to resonate with the listener in offering a deep exploration of heartbreak and beauty in emotional breakthroughs. With such next steps, Zero Saints is definitely one that should be on your radar—a band set to carve their own path with melodic introspection and a rock-solid foundation.
